this was a comissioned model i built for wrights in ulverstone as a xmas pressie,i actually drove it back in 2001 for a few months so was a really enjoyable build.the timeline of the build is when it towed for sea-pak,
first a pic of the real one

and the model, the prime mover started as the amt k123,cut out the 3 rear windows, added door vents, modified lower skirts and cab front for slightly wider grille and dual 7" headlights, floor was cut into a jigsaw puzzle and new sections made for a rhd floor, list goes on,very few aftermarket items used as i try and make most myself, the trailer is completely scratchbuilt, the container is a chopped down 40 footer,

Heavy haulage australia,a name now famous anywhere in australia so when i found out that they would be visiting tasmania i was like a kid waiting for santa to come,
in tasmania to deliver 2 locomotives from queensland, the route would take them from toll shipping to burnie with a 6am departure time destined for the railyard on devonports west wharf where they would be put on the rails,an army of cranes and support vehicles proceeded the procession so i knew they were close, what i didnt know was hazell bros(tasmanias main heavy haulage firm) also had an oversize move on so at my vantage point on the don hill i saw a pilot vehicle approaching and to my surprise it was hazell' mack trident towing a mobile batching plant, tis was on its way to the hobart airport where it will be used to resurface the runways,

another hour passed as i waited......patiently then they arrived,
