I'm a part time school bus driver, sneakin up on 50.

Done a bit of truck driving, usually associated with other work ... earthmoving , farming etc.

Been pretty much thrown on the scrap heap by Workcover after I stepped in a hole in a factory floor, doing lots of stuff to my right knee ... after four years they just don't wanna know anymore.

Anyway, one of my projects is a restoration/rebuild of a 1978 Leyland Terrier truck. Has the 4.4 V8, (petrol + LPG) 5 speed all synchro Turner box, air over hydraulic brakes (HAD to fit seat belts ... unloaded they put my head against the windscreen a couple times) and little roller skatey 8.25r16 tyres.

Tongue also got nearly a set of 20" rims with 9.00s on. Unfortunately I'm 2 short ... got five need seven.
I have run it with 20s on the back and the 16s on steer & she handles it well. looks a bit daggy though, and can attract the wrong kind of attention.
stuck 20s on the front to check clearance of the 9.00s (factory option is 8.25x20) and it looks pretty good ... almost like a real truck Wink
